On 20 September, China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group opened its subsidiary CECEP (Hong Kong) Investment Co., Ltd, using Hong Kong as a platform to go global. Along with the Hong Kong Director-General of Investment Promotion, Simon Galpin, Chairman of CECEP Wang Xiaokang, Vice Chairman Chen Jinen and other seniors attended the opening ceremony. CECEP (Hong Kong) Investment Co., Ltd is CECEP wholly-owned subsidiary and oversees its international operations headquarters, which is mainly responsible for overseas investment, fund raising, carbon and international trading. The Hong Kong subsidiary will focus on the environmental protection business and actively explore overseas investment opportunities in related areas.
Chairman Wang Xiaokang expressed that the opening of Hong Kong office is a major step forward in our go global campaign. CECEP would make use of Hong Kong's international status as a platform from which to expand the business overseas and build up the brand image as one of the world's top-notch green tech enterprises.
