On the morning of 9th October, Vice General Manager Li Jie met with the Vice President Mr. Zhou Yanyun and Ms. Gui Fan from Beijing International Chinese College and “Seminar on Chinese for Officials from Republic of Vanuatu”. Both parties had a brief discussion on the development and cooperation in terms of energy conservation and environmental protection.
Vice General Manager Li Jie firstly gave a brief introduction on China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group. CECEP has been the only state-owned enterprise focusing on energy conservation and environmental protection. It covers three major business areas: energy conservation and emission reduction, environment protection, clean technology and new energy. Currently CECEP is in the leading position in energy conservation and emission reduction service, waste treatment for power generation and water treatment etc. He sincerely hoped both parties would have further cooperation in solar energy and wind power businesses and among others.
The Vice President Mr. Zhou Yanyun and Ms. Gui Fan from Beijing International Chinese College delivered a short speech respectively. Approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, the Beijing International Chinese College，a private professional educational institution devoted to the international promotion of Chinese, was founded in September 2005. It not only focuses on teaching international students Chinese, cross-cultural communication but also offers training in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
A representative, on behalf of the “Seminar on Chinese for Officials from Republic of Vanuatu”, talked about country circumstances, geographical advantages and the demand on energy conservation and environmental protection project. They hope to have further cooperation in a number of areas of waste treatment, solar energy, wind power and so on.
