On December 22nd, the conference for the establishment of the promotion association of China Lingshan Charity was held at the Great Hall of the People. A congratulatory letter has been delivered from the Chinese Vice Premier of the State Council Hui Liangyu. The vice-Chairmen of the CPPCC national committee Sun Jiazheng formally announced the establishment of the promotion association. Present at the meeting were the former Vice Chairmen of the National People's Congress Standing Committee He Luli, Xu Jialu and Gu Xiulian, the Vice Minister of Ministry of Civil Affairs Gu Chaoxi, and the former Secretary-General of Boao Forum for Asia etc. The Chairmen of CECEP group Mr. Wang was invited as well, and has been selected as the executive member of the promotion association at the first meeting of the First Governing Council.
Approved by the national Ministry of Civil Affairs, the promotion association of the China Lingshan Charity serves as the business unit in charge of the national charitable platform. With the aim of “Cultivation of beautiful mind, Building of beautiful China”, the promotion association is facilitating the continuous innovation of charity in China. Unlike the general charitable bodies engaging in a wide range of the charitable projects, the promotion association is dedicated to providing a open charity platform for the information exchange, educational training, resource sharing and international cooperation through integrating with both national and overseas charitable parties.
The Vice-Chairman of the 10th National's People's Congress, Gu Xiulian was selected as the chairmen of the promotion association, Long Yongtu, and Huang Lixin and LiuChangle as the Vice-Chairmen. Moreover, a number of charitable parties of the great influence were actively involved as the association members; and Bai Yansong, as the well-known host from CCTV has been selected as the supervisor of the promotion association.
